Very first, what is a sport of bowling? Some individuals get puzzled when they listen to the phrases “per game” or “per game per person.” A game of bowling is composed of 10 frames, through which a bowler has two probabilities per frame to knock out all ten pins. If a bowler knocks out all of the ten pins in those two spins in the 10th frame, an additional bonus probability is awarded.

So, when we state “per game” or “per game per person,” that indicates each 10 full frames bowled by every single person. So if two individuals bowl one game each (10 frames each) they have bowled a maximum of two games. Our Automatic Scorers can suit six people on each and every lane, so if each individual bowls a game, six finish games have already been bowled. Despite the fact that each person has bowled only one game, 60 entire frames have been bowled by the team, equaling 6 games.

There are a number of symbols used when trying to keep score:
an “X” represents a “strike” in which all ten pins have been knocked out by the 1st roll of the ball in a frame.
A “/” indicates a “spare” in which the rest of the pins left standing after the first roll are knocked out on the second roll in a frame.
A “-” signifies that no pins were knocked out on that roll, called a “miss”.
An “F” indicates a “foul” where a part of the bowler’s body went past the foul line, which marks the boundary of the strategy (the aspect of the lane where we move and release the ball) and the lane by itself, where the oil is positioned and the ball rolls in direction of the pins.
An “O” around a number signifies that the pins left standing up after the first roll are in a formation recognized as a “split.” Some scorers, just like ours, use an “S” in front of the number to suggest a split.
Splits in Bowling Score Sheet
Splits take place when the headpin (the foremost pin) is knocked out, and there is a space of at least one pin among all the others kept standing. The conditions “wide” and “washout” are used to specify this situation apart from that the headpin was left standing. In some cases, a “W” is used to suggest this situation, but that has commonly long gone out of use.
For the best part, you maintain score by including the number of pins knocked out in each frame. Specific bonuses are granted for strikes and extras. When a strike is bowled, the bowler is awarded the score of 10 (for knocking out all of the ten pins), furthermore, he gets to put the total of his next two rolls to that frame. For a spare, the bowler receives the 10, as well as the total number of pins knocked out on the upcoming roll only.
